Side Panels-Pure Bond MDF (Medium Density Fiber Board) this formaldehyde free, composite material is made from 100% reclaimed wood fiber- stronger than plywood or particle board and resist warping.

2. 15% Quieter 12 volt DC Fan

15% quieter 12volt DC fan- This high velocity (125 cfm) liquid floating twin bearing fan is rated to last 150,000 hours, its 10 decibels quieter and 70% more energy efficient. We relocated the lifetime washable filter to the top of the unit, directly across from the fan to improve air flow.

3. Stain Resistant Cabinet

This ultra hard water based Becker Acroma UV cured finish will resist water rings and denting. This is the same finish used for top quality office furniture.

Solvent Free Stains- the stains and finish have no solvents or VOCs (Volatile Organic Chemicals)

7. Power Routing Board

This microprocessor is constructed to insure appropriate power is distributed to each element of the heater: fan, infrared lamps, and thermostat.

8. Flat Neoprene Power Cord

This proprietary, 12 gage power cord, features a flat neoprene coated cord that delivers maximum power to the heater at all time. Lesser gauge cord will sometime get hot to the touch a sign that energy is being lost in the cord.

9. 90° Plug

This flat plug stays secure to the outlet, but out of the way. This design insures positive connection to the outlet at all times. Other plugs stick out from the outlet like a hose that can get bumped or the weight of the cord will cause it to work loose.

10. Teflon Coated High Temperature Wires

The efficiency of any electronic device can be traced to the wiring. This high temperature wire is the same used in military, commercial and racing applications. It will not melt and with the positive wing nut connections it's easy to repair in the unlikely event a bulb needs replaced

11. Industrial Grade Infrared Lamps

Industrial Grade Infrared Lamps- we made the quartz tube around the infrared elements thicker and then welded the end connections. This will increase the life of the lamp and decrease chances of breakage when moving or in storage.

Earth Friendly Cabinet- This cabinet is LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) compliant and meets CARB 2 (California Air Resource Board) standards. It’s GREEN from the MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) side panels, made from reclaimed wood fiber, to the water based UV finish.
